Meet Our Instructors

DREAM Inc.'s administrative
team is headed by Benjamin Smith
(Executive Director). He is a grad-
uate of Florida A&M University
where he received his BS in
Business Administration and
Economics. He is an Event Planner,
Grant Writer and Graphic Artist who
freelances both in Massachusetts and
New York. He has managerial and ac-
counting experience both from the profit and nonprofit sectors. With all of this beneath his belt he is also an accomplished actor, director and a playwright who studied acting at FAMU and acted on stages all across the country. He also teaches our Conservatory Acting Class for adults, teens and youth.

Our Drama Division is headed by
Laiona Michelle (Artistic Director).
She is a professional actress that
has performed on many stages
across America. She is a graduate
of Alabama State University where
she majored in Theater Arts and re-
ceived her Masters of Fine Arts from
Brandeis University. She is also the
Artistic Director of Shakers our 5-week
summer program that introduces inner
city youths to Shakespeare.

Donei Hall is the Assistant Director/ Dance Instructor for Shakers Performing Arts Camp. She is a graduate from Brandeis University’s MFA Program where she earned her Master’s Degree in Acting. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Alabama State University. Ms. Hall is a professional actress and currently resides in New York.

Our Conservatory Voice classes are taught by Bonnie Weaver. She is a graduate of University of Kentucky who brings many years of programming experience to our organization. Her singing experience is deeply rooted in gospel choir training and classical voice training as well.
